Couldn't that also be the phrase if he walks a batter?

Knowing Kenny, he's probably in LA getting ready to sign Tatanka.

Probably in Australia to look at Jacob May play over there in winter ball. What better excuse to go to Australia than have the company pick up the tab?

Also I believe Erisbel Arruebarruena (SS) defected from Cuba and was holding a showcase in the DR in December. That could be it....

Stan Kasten of the Dodgers told MLB radio quote "we will not be outbid".

Something tells me that Tanaka ends up in LA given the Dodgers declaration above, their seemingly bottomless pockets, and their location on the west coast. (shorter trip back to Japan)

If that is really the case, then the oner teams should run up the bidding and get the dodgers well above the luxury tax.

I love the fact that the Sox are at least attempting to talk to him. Words can't describe how happy I'll be if the Sox get Tanaka

If Kenny was still GM, we woujld sign him at age 37 after Tommy John, rotator cuff surgeries and a 9-13 season.

Still got his man.

Kaplan: Cubs will not be outbid on Tanaka

"What?," Duquette said in stunned disbelief, "what kind of objectivity is that? Who said that?"

"I don't want to say," Ferrin replied.

"Come on."

"O.K., it was Kap."

Duquette further said that ten years ago, today or any other time, the answer is this: a team of nine Frank Thomases is better than a team of nine Mark Graces, every time.

So, I would take anything that Dave Kaplan says about baseball with a huge grain of salt.

I really don't understand how Kaplan can be in the media. He can't come up with objective thoughts. Everything is skewed toward the cubs no matter the subject material. It's insane. I absolutely hate the guy.
