Have you been watching Buehrle this season?

Hey, what do you say we bump this thread and celebrate the greatest player of our generation?

No doubt about it.

Induction ceremony begins at 1:30 pm tomorrow on MLB Network. Has the schedule been posted yet for those who don't want to sit through the other bums?

Just a random pic of Frank and Ray Durham from Yankee Stadium, circa late 90s.

Good article published today "Frank Thomas had the 'biggest voice against steroids" - more reason to be proud of Frank and the White Sox http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports...oids/13216839/

I haven't posted on WSI since my father died in May 2014. I am struggling, especially this morning as I remember my Dad and how much he loved the White Sox and Frank Thomas.

This is a bittersweet day for me as I am not able to share it with my Dad.

Congratulations, Frank, on your HOF induction. White Sox fans everywhere are so proud of you!

October26 - Thank you to the 2005 World Series Champions Chicago White Sox!
October26 - Twenty-SEVEN years ago, I married my husband on October 26. Since that day, we have been blessed with a wonderful family. Then, on October 26, 2005, when the baseball gods bestowed their good fortunes upon us, we saw the White Sox win the World Series. An incredibly talented team of grinders made every Sox fan's dream come true. My family and I celebrated with reckless abandon. And now, we look forward to that day when our White Sox will once again be World Series Champions!

My father was around 72 years and never saw the Sox win a World Series but I am part of him so he indeed did see it. It takes a long time to realize things, enjoy the day.

Sorry for your loss. Lost my father 15+ years ago and I still miss him. Days like this - that trigger special feelings and sense of loss are especially hard. Hang in there and at least it's a happy memory today so that should help.

Thinks it's alphabetical, and depends on how long the other speeches are.

I could only find it at the Jewels. Walgreens and Target didn't have it.

Nice little book. The Frank article was a reprint of a September '91 story. It was a fun read.
