It is probably the best of the Cubs' 10 throwback uniforms this season.

On a related note, do the Sox have any throwback uniforms this season, whether on Sunday or otherwise?

Idk about 2014, but in 2015, the Marlins need to wear a uniform with an alligator holding a baseball bat, when they face the flubs.

The Chi-Feds jersey is pretty sweet.
I wonder if Edwin Jackson could lose at least one game in 2014 wearing 12 different Cubs' uniforms?

I was hoping they'd do a Chicago Whales throwback but figured they wouldn't since, ya know, they were never the Whales.

Although since the celebration is for Wrigley Field and not necessarily the Cubs, and the fact that Wrigley was built for the Federal League franchise, I get the Chi Feds throwback.

The Feds and Whales were the same team.

Before they had a formal name, they called themselves the "C-Feds". However, when they became the Whales, they had different uniforms that reflected their name change. The logo was basically a C with a whale in the middle. I'm surprised the Cubs didn't include this one in their throwback parade.

That's a 1915 uniform; I think they were going for a centennial thing this year. Granted, the Whales logo looks cooler than the Feds.

This was from one of the links in the article. Classic shot.

Giants are bringing back the script for their orange alternate jerseys.

Sawx going back to red lettering on their road jerseys.

A's adding a new green alternate.

Definite improvement. The blue ones looked really drab. The A's jersey isn't bad either.

It seems like the Red Sawx tradition over the years has been to consistently alternate between the navy lettering and the red lettering on their road jerseys.

I like the new A's alternate. I'm glad they're bringing back the "A" vs. "Athletics" on their alternates. I hope they keep the gold alternate as well. I really like that one.

A big improvement over their black alternates with "Athletics" from a few years ago. Black jerseys with white shoes made them look like old men mowing their lawns...
