Default Bud Black, Wrigley stinks

Bud Black says Wrigley is a foul smelling dump, or something close to that.

Can't deny that! If they really want to renovate it, put Glade in every cup holder.

I've played at Wrigley twice and the dugouts are horrible. They also smell like urine and are incredibly uncomfortable. I also felt the field wasn't well kept. Any ball hit on the infield grass immediately died.

5/3 Bank Ballpark (Kane County Cougars) was a lot better as far as being comfortable and the field conditions.

How long since you've been there? The field conditions have dramatically improved since the Sodfather redid their turf I want to say 2-3 years ago.

The thread title leads me to believe that someone is telling Bud Black that Wrigley stinks.

I played there in 2005-06 I think. Last time I saw a game there was White Sox-Cubs in 2010.

I read it like a newspaper headline, stating that Bud Black and Wrigley both stink.

Bud Black was teammates with Will Clark. Of course, so was Royce Clayton.

"And Will was mean to me every day."

"That's because you suck, Royce. Stop banging my ex-wife."

"I want ice cream."

"Who else wants to come get ice cream?"

"I do. Royce Clayton was the best shortstop I ever played with."

It's funny, if you read the quote from Bud Black, he's saying the park smells and is cramped, but that he'd still miss it if it were redone, so he's still talking positively about Wrigley
