While watching some of the Cardinals-D'Backs game Monday night, I noticed that the Cardinals have replaced the navy blue caps on the road with the home red caps.
I liked the navy ones because they looked cool and were once worn by past Cardinal teams. As for Houston's new/old unis, I like them bringing back the logo from the Cesar Cedeno/Jose Cruz teams in the 70s. Any other teams make changes for this season?

A pretty good run down of the changes in the link below. The SOX get a nice nod and I wasn't aware that Don Cooper switched his jersey number to 99 in honor of Kevin Hickey.
I personally like the Cardinals red caps on the road because I like how it matches up with the red trim on the gray uniforms like they wore in the late 80s after switching from the powder blue uniforms. I like that they kept the blue cap with the Cardinal as the alternative. I'm also looking forward to seeing their "St. Louis" alternate jerseys. http://espn.go.com/blog/playbook/fan...ch-mlb-preview Last edited by Red Barchetta; 04-02-2013 at 01:59 PM. |
