The one time I got to see him pitch, he gave up the winning run on a DeWayne Wise single in the 9th of a tie game.
Still the greatest closer ever. Only Eck is close in my book.

I will still insist that you cannot compare the modern "one-inning, nobody on base" closer to the guys who would be brought in any time after the sixth inning, usually with runners on base, who would "put out the fire" and then finish out the remaining innings.
