Default Comiskey Park Turnstyles

Does anyone know anything about the turnstyles that were at Comiskey?

Anything specific? Your question is a bit vague.

‎This just in from the newswires: The Anti-Trust Division of the US Department of Justice has announced that whenever Sale take The Bump, it is unfair competition in violation of various federal and state laws. However, he is not being prosecuted because it is so ****in awesome to watch him do his craft.

Yes. They had a metal bar that you pushed on and it rotated, allowing one customer to enter at a time.

I assuming we are talking about the ones in Old Comiskey. The ones that looked like little Nel's photo were installed in 1959 and were blue. Many were sold during the Comiskey Park demolition auction (Sotheby's) in 1991 and immediately thereafter. You occasionally see one sell for about $1000 - $1200 on ebay or memorabilia auctions. The previous ones were generally installed when the park opened in 1910 and remained there until 1959. They were green and made of iron with 4 revolving "compartments" for people to usher in. This style is quite rare, I bought one around 1990. The BB HOF has one and I saw another in an auction - link below.

That's at Rookies in Black Earth, Wis. It's part of a Wiffle ball field out behind the bar-restaurant. Lots of great memorabilia. The owner also owns the Madison Mallards of the Northwoods League.
