Default Mariners Scout Heckles Jesus Montero w/Ice Cream Sandwich

This is bizarre.

If true, this scout needs to be fired. No excuse for that kind of behavior.

This really speaks volumes about the seasons that Cano, Hernandez and Iwakuma have had if those players can get that train wreck of an organization to the playoffs. I agree that scout needs to go.

Tarred and feathered and run out of town. Millions in damages for Montero and lifetime free counseling too.

He should be fired for having an ice cream sandwich delivered? Seems a tad harsh.

Some guys at work were talking about this a few nights ago and it got me craving one as well. I rectified that this afternoon.

Most ice cream sandwiches (the kind you can often find at convenience stores and vending machines) are actually under 300 calories.

Latest word is that, instead of an ice-cream sandwich, the scout in fact sent a helmet sundae, which makes more sense. Montero may have been upset it wasn't a full-size helmet.

Perhaps he should have sent him the Skinny Cow variety; only 140 calories.

If anything, Montero should have complained that the scout only sent one. I mean, to cheap to spring for a dozen ?
