IF Baker goes to the Tigers.

I did not see in the article who they gave up for him. Anyone know?

4 k's for Jackson tonight. Couldn't see that coming taking a look at his minor league numbers.

Jackson should have played out the season in the minors and got his shot next year. He was foolishly rushed.

As for Vitters, he should be up at the big league level now. He probably should have been up a month ago. They need to see if he shows any potential to hit at the major league level, because if he doesn't, Theo might have to go another way at 3B.

I think that Vitters' clock strikes midnight if he doesn't hit in August and September.

Yup.

I was actually at Wrigley yesterday--first time in about eight years. my mom is a Cubs fan and my aunt couldn't use her (pretty good) seats so I went with her. She's been to plenty of Sox games and I was free all day.

Not a pretty game defensively or on the basepaths, and Vitters and Jackson both look lost, understandably.

I was bummed that Votto still isn't back, but at least the Cub made a charge so I could see Chapman.

On the Red Line back we talked to a guy from New York who was taking his son (probably 5-6) on a baseball trip. Over the last week they saw a game in Pittsburgh, one in Cleveland, two of the Yankees-Tigers games in Detroit, and did the Red Line doubleheader yesterday. Pretty cool.

I wanted to go to this series just to see him live. He is ridiculous. I hope he is in the rotation next season.
