He will be missed for sure. I like some of the others, will miss hearing his interviews up in the booth.

I grew up in Cicero and I'll never forget meeting him as a kid. He owned a bar over by Sportsman's Park and would come to the area schools to talk to the kids.
Great man. He will be missed.

Played many years with Moose at fantasy camp. He was one of a kind. I will miss him dearly. Rest in peace Moosey.

I'll miss Moose. Got to meet him a couple times and he was quite the character. Definitely will miss those radio booth visits with Farmer. That was comedy gold.

I met him at SoxFest and he wasn't really that nice (to put it politely)-- maybe he was just having an off day. Oh well.
RIP Moose. Glad you got a chance to see the Sox win it all! :-) |

He was a regular at Hawthorne until he recently got ill. Loved the ponies.

Saw him play many times as a member of the hated Yankees of the 50s and early 60s. Came over to the Sox in 64 and had a real nice year in 65.
A real asset to the White Sox family, RIP Moose.

I was at Moose's first game as a White Sox. Homered in the LF upper deck. RIP Moose.

Moose also had an endless supply of Mickey Mantle autographed baseballs.
