Crowd was lighter then hoped for, but Joliet never seems to draw well until school lets out. Stadium had some opening night bugs -- sound system, concessions -- but those should get worked out. Yes, its independent A ball, but I can get good seats cheap and like last night, sometimes you see some good baseball.

Great, I wanted to head out but too much on my plate this weekend. I'm hoping to get out quite a bit this season.

That's good to hear, I think the experience at Joliet is easily the best in terms of all the crappy little minor league teams in the Chicagoland area. I like the park, I like that it's downtown, I like that Joliet's not too awful. It's a good time.
