Dylan Axelrod was perfect through 7 and kept the shutout through 8, but the Knights lost it in the 9th.

Silverio played RF last night. Hopefully this will continue. He has 28 errors at 3B this year.

This is a minor league thread. You may want to mention how Holmberg is doing, as well.

I think he should be in Kanny, but I guess this is a step in the right direction. The Sox have somehow assembled a log-jam of catchers in the organization that need at bats.

Holmberg is getting lit up since his promotion to Adv A ball. ERA approaching 5, 3 of his last 5 starts have been awful. He's only 20, so there's plenty of time for him to get it right.

We'll be seeing plenty of Reed in September and probably beyond that.

Shoemaker finally promoted to W-S. Keenyn Walker promoted to Kanny.

Now we can get a more accurate assessment of Walker's abilities. Pay attention to the strikeouts.

OK, I'll have to concede this one. One year of Edwin Jackson + Jason Frasor + Zach Stewart + some salary relief/payroll flexibility is certainly not a great return for Dan Hudson (and his five future years of D' Back control). And I say that even though I expect Frasor to help the Sox bullpen this year and I believe that Stewart has some upside, based upon some analysis that I have seen. For Stewart to break through, it would seem that Don Cooper would need to help him develop another secondary pitch. I'll be an optimist, though, and hope that Stewart can develop along the lines of a Phil Humber.

But, again, I acknowledge that this is not the type of return that I hoped the Sox would get for Hudson.
