Default I win eight free tickets...in section 558.

Some of you may be aware that I won a bunch of tickets from the Vienna Beef fanpage on Facebook for Thursday's game. I finally got them via FedEx today...and they're in section 558.

obviously, it's eight free tickets, and beggars can't be choosers, but I just kind it kind of funny.

Were you expecting free scout seats?

I almost got free scout seats a few weeks ago. My friend's boss gave them to her. But I didn't answer the phone in time, so she had to let them go. Luckily, her boss did give her front row seats in 117, so that was almost as good.

Yes. I think the White Sox have something to do with this. What awful consumer relations. An all around terrible organization.

I sat in section 558 for game 2 of the 2005 ALDS. They are great seats. Bring your binoculars and a radio, and you'll be able to know whats going on. Or just move into some unoccupied seats near home plate.

This. People hop seats in the Upper Deck all the time, especially since attendance has been so bad. You'll have no problem sitting somewhere closer if you want.

Yeah, I've noticed that nobody checks tickets before you go into a section in the UD. We will definitely move at least a little bit down the line.

Congrats on your WIN! Keep your winning streak going

I win stuff all the time.

If you don't like the seats, sell the eight and buy one scout seat. I'll look for you on tv.

I went to Tuesday's game with Row 35 tickets. By the time Omar flied out with the bases loaded to end the game, I was sitting in the 2nd row of Section 128 and could feel the snap of Feliz's curveball in front of my face.

Terrible attendance: not just an annoying WSI topic, but also your friend when it comes to getting a good seat

I'm surprised about that too. If you search for upper reserve tix, they're just releasing tix in Section 548 row 3. So only a few sections and a few rows in the upper deck will be taken... then a sea of empty sections leading to the corner section... where 8 lucky people will be seated in the very last corner section of the stadium. Something doesn't add up there.
