Default *Official* Sox almost no-hit, Jays win 4-2; Rios gets revenge postgame therapy thread

But though FRATER laughed openly, he wept secretly; and really he neither laughed nor wept. Nor did he mean what he said.

I listened to the game on the radio, so maybe Gregg was very hard to hit, but god damn, that top of the ninth sounded embarrassing.

Wow, what a great swing to end the game there.

Pretty inept against Kevin Gregg.

Rios breaking it up was the perfect spoiler. Thank God.

Oh, well, Floyd. Get 'em next time, okay?

One hit is not going to get the job done.

I really hope this isn't a bitch fest tonight.

Romero is a stud with filthy stuff who had it all working tonight. Oh well. It is one loss see ya tomorrow.

Shame Gavin got beat on a good pitch to make it 4-0 on that little flipper into right.

Meh. Romero has good stuff, and it was exceptional tonight. A true cap tipping is due. This was no Fausto Carmona cap tipping garbage excuse.

Beckham and Quentin both looked bad.

Yeah, he pitched great. I was disappointed in those inept ABs against Gregg in the ninth, however.

Nevertheless, you're not going to win too often when you get a pitching performance like that against you. Gavin just got outpitched.
