Kiss this Jose Valentin.

If you were not making fun of Sammy Sosa, then what were you doing? Have you ever used those gestures in any other game? As for acting like Sammy, I feel sorry for you. Obviously, you don't know how to be yourself.

Sammy does.

I feel sorry for you, because you have no respect for the game or your opponents.

Sammy does.

I feel sorry for you because you have no class.

Sammy has more class in his pinky.

As for your statement, I have to play the game the way I know how to play the game, and that's enough."

Maybe it's not enough, because playing fair is how to play any game. Ask Sammy, he will tell you how to play the game. Its not mocking or making fun of his opponents. Sammy loves the game of baseball, he respects his opponents and he takes the game seriously. Can you say that?

If not, maybe you should apologize to Sammy, to the Cubs and to all of their devoted fans. Hopefully by dong so, you might gain a little respect and class that Sammy has.

Default Real response now

The irony of this is that Flub fans (at least, my Flubbie friends) always accuse Sox Fans of being more anti-Cub than pro-Sox. This is, of course, completely untrue, and yet, here is a Cub fan, who's team is 12 years removed from its last division championship and is currently in the biggest series of their year, and what does she magnify? The McGriff deal? The other moves needed to put the Flubs over the top? HELL NO! She whines and moans about Jose Valentin and his "Flubbie Disrespect."

Does anyone honestly think that after the Flubs won the 2nd series of the year last year, we'd be bogged down on that for weeks? No, we had more important things to think about.

Sounds like someone is a little more anti-Sox than pro-Cubs...

The print edition of today's Cubune included several letters from Flubs fans still whining about Jose Valentin and the Sox. It's unbelievable how these people have elevated Shammy into an icon of baseball. It's as if it is blasphemy to even suggest the guy is a hot dog or cut up on him.

"I am an icon!"

How dare you say that!! Sammy us just acknowledging his family back in the Dominic, who, although cannot actually see the game, do feel a special connection. He is also acknowledging the Cub fans. The hand kiss means its time to stop paying attention and drink again, errr, we mean, thanks for the support, and he's showboating, errr, uh, he's acknowledging the pitcher for grooving him one.

Very harmless.

Even with my bad hamstring, I can kick their @ss.
