Hes pretty much 1 for 2 in AAA starts. His first was really bad and his 2nd was really good. He needs to prove himself in at least few more starts before we talk about him pitching in Chicago. A September call up with a few innings in blow out games would be good for him though. Starting next season as the #5 starter next year is a much better option.

The fifth starter position just came up the next time Contreras is supposed to start. He can't go out there again. Second and third time through the lineup, he can't get anyone out.

The question is whether Freddy is ready. Hudson's normal day would be the same as Contreras's.

I'm joining the Brent Morel fan club. (Table for 1?) He's not the high cieling prospect like some other guys, but he had hit nicely since the break. I'd like to see him finish strong in WS and go to Birmingham next year.

I've liked him since we drafted him. He has some decent pop and speed as well. Sign me up, let's hope he continues to progress.

He tore up WS and got promoted to BHam. He's struggling there. He has had an awful start to August.

Ever since coming back from his wrist injury he has been abysmal. The K's are really alarming.

Freddy and Tuesday, Hudson on Wednesday seems to be the rumors. Hahn and Fabian watched Hudson in person and liked what they saw.

I remember somebody asking about Morel's glove, and since he was brought up in this game thread I thought I would pass this along: Morel as regarded as the best 3b glove in the Carolina League for Baseball America's Best Tools issue.

Thanks - I had asked. Maybe he has what it takes to make it up here? Seems like he could grow into being a decent hitter.
