Saw the first three innings of the Knights game in Indy tonight (was there with my three year old). Not alot of positives to report. Three innings allowed me to see the full extent of Whistler's outing.
The coaching staff was spending a ton of time with Flowers on his defense during pregame warmups. Boy did he need it. Twice during the portion of the game that I saw the Indians bunted - and Flowers was brutally slow getting out of the box to field either ball. He's got a great bat, but his defense needs some serious help. Fields and Lillibridge both looked mediocre in the field, but Fields looked a touch more confident at the plate than he did w/ the big club. Not much else to report....

Phegley finally gets his average above .200 and continues to hit homers.
Nice to see Flowers rebound after a rather shaky start to his Charlotte stint. Now batting .316 with 3 singles and a walk tonight. |

Well, I guess it's a damn good thing Torres got the recall and not Whisler. Rough outing for him.
