Retherford had one terrible month where he put up a June line of .239/.289/.314. Other than that, he hasn't had a month where he hit under .307 or put up an OPS under .814. He still has a shot to stick somewhere as a PH-type player or utility IFer, and I love it when UDFAs make it in any capacity.

It's also nice to see Marrero starting to turn it on with a 12/32 (.375) stretch over his last ten games.

Viciedo put up an .826 OPS in July with a .303 average, and his numbers have steadily improved since his dismal start. As a 21 year old in AA, nobody should be calling quits on him yet. He's hitting .351 over his last ten games with 4 HR. The problem? 6K:1BB. He really needs to start drawing some more walks, and after the upward trend in his walks from April to June (2 BB in April, 3 BB in May, 9 BB in June), he only had 4 BB in all of July. The upside here is his K's per month have decreased (19/23/14/12).

Turned 20 around spring training I believe.

You're right, he's only 20. I agree about Danks, but he still has a chance to end up a bit like a LH Corey Hart (with less power and speed but a higher potential average) which I wouldn't mind at all.
