Is Carlos Torres likely to get the callup to make the next 5th starter spot for us?

I cant think of any other option. Unless they think Garcia is ready, but I hope thats not the case. Its gotta be Torres. He deserves it after a great AAA year and a pretty good MLB debut.

I hope Torres gets a shot at the 5th SP slot, but I would be stunned if it didn't go to Freddy. Ozzie and KW love their vets.

Freddy is apparently three or four starts away.

Freddy went 5 innings,1 hit ,no runs last nite.
Freddy is coming, tra la,la,la.... I am guessing Torres goes on Saturday vs Cleveland, then by the 18th vs KC...it could be Freddy...he could have 2 more starts under his belt by then...lets see how Torres does vs the Tribe, unless Ozzie goes with DJ again. |

Shoemaker went hitless in 3 ABs in the second game for Bristol, ending his hitting streak at 29.
