Hudson dealing again. 7 K's through the first 3 innings.

I know I shouldn't get too attached to prospects, but I will be quite sad if Kenny deals him.

I agree with that. If he rolls through August, I'd like to see him up in September. They have nothing to lose.

Huddy left after the 6th with an injury. Back or oblique evidently.

That's tough luck for Hudson, he was on his way to have his best outing so far this year (I think..).

From FutureSox:

Barons Clubhouse Manager Jeff Perro says Hudson is fine.

A small sample size, but post All Star Break Viciedo is really raking.

.373/.407/.608 in 51 at bats.

So what's good ol' Ehren Wassermann been doing? Is he the AAA closer or is that Link?

Another great start by Hudson.
Please don't trade him for a rent a player.
The top or so players in our system appear to be the best 4 we've had in ages.

Was warming up in the 7th after 88 pitches and was removed after pointing to his back area.

Yep. There was obviously something wrong, but it is seemingly minor according to the comments.

Great news, maybe the break allowed him to catch his breath. I bet it's a bit intense going from Cuba to AA ball. Cuba he was already one of the best. Here he has to adjust not only to the culture and language but to an intensity of competition he probably isn't used to.

Hope he keeps it going. If Beckham keeps raking and improving at third, where do you think Viciedo ends up long term, RF? LF?

If Beckham stays at third, The only future I honestly see for Viciedo is at First Base. Hopefully by the time Viciedo gets up to the big leagues we will have TCQ and JorDanks locked up in left and center field, and from what I've heard, he doesn't have great defensive makings of a third baseman, much less a right fielder. Flowers could turn out to be a first baseman in the end, but the kind of numbers he could put up would be much more valuable at catcher than at first base, just as I think Beckham's potential could be more valuable at short or second than at 3rd. So for all I know Viciedo could end up as a third baseman.

EDIT: Perhaps in this case JorDanks may be moved to right, clearing center for TCM, clearing shortstop of Beckham, clearing third for Viciedo. Just a long chain reaction

Speaking of Jordan Danks, I am deathly afraid he becomes BA part deux. All the K's really scare me.
