Good to see Carlos swinging the bat well. And Dexter Carter is a beast. He needs to be in AA now. No much left for him to show us at A at this point.

It isn't about results. His change needs a lot of work. No sense in moving him up until he gets that squared.

There are obviously things the organization wants him to work on otherwise he would have been promoted long ago. Two things are his mechanics and his changeup. He needs to develop that third pitch if he wants to be a viable starter in the Bigs. I wouldn't be against a promotion to Winston-Salem, but why would he skip to Birmingham?

Flowers first hit in AAA is what you would expect from him, a homerun.

Quentin played all nine. Get him on a plane to Chicago.

There is also no point in letting a guy dominate 1 level for an extended period of time. Hes not going to improve and develop much if he striking out almost every 3rd batter. Let him develop against a talent level that better suits him. Getting roughed up a little while he is developing isnt going to kill hm.

Great game for Dexter yesterday. Hope he puts it all together and has a long career in the big leagues either with the Sox or another team via a trade. I believe one reason he signed with the CWS is because it gives his father a better opportunity to watch Dexter than he had with the Rangers when he was originally drafted.
