Hudson is cruising like usual. Very excited about him.

5 K's 1 BB and 1 ER through 5.0 IP so far.

I really like Hudson. It looks like the Sox have targeted him for fast tracking to the majors. He's already gone from A to high A to AA this year. I don't know of another starter the Sox have in the minors who would be ahead of him right now in terms of potential as a starter within a relatively short period of time (not that he's ready right this minute, but I'm thinking for next year, if someone needs to be called up).

Pretty much. I'd like to get some updated scouting reports on him. The consensus is that his fastball has alot more on it this year. The Birmingham gun is fast, but he has hit 97 tonight.
