Default Kannapolis wins 7-3: Phegley 3/4

Phegley went 3/4 with 3 singles in his debut at Kannapolis. Interestingly, he was at DH.

Infante 7.0 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, 7 K, 0 BB, 3.26ERA

Should we start a "daily minor league games" box score watch type of thread? We have done it in the past but it is difficult to keep updated.

I had thought about making a thread like that, but didn't want the responsibility of being the one to update it all the time. Feel free to make one though, and people can chime in when something noteworthy happens.

Good to see Infante strike some people out and not issue any free passes. He had that one amazing game with tons of K's to start the year, but hasn't followed it up with many similar performances.

I did it for a long time last year. There were several people who started it and I seemed to take it over in midseason and finished it off, through Great Falls winning their league championship. It's nice to watch the development of the young talent. I think the Sox have far superior minor league talent today then even a year ago.

Now that the new class of draftees is starting to be assigned, it may be a good idea to pick up a daily minor league stats string. I've been waiting for someone to do it, and was surprised with Beckham in AA that no one picked it up daily to track his progress.

I'll start it today -- but how about several people each picking up a day so no one has to do it every day?
