Grow up, folks. Peavy doesn't owe us anything.
The first time you posted this wasn't enough to get your point across?
Ridiculousness across all sports:

(1) "You have no valid opinion because you never played the game."
(2) "Stats are irrelevant. This guy just doesn't know how to win."

If he indeed is afraid of the AL then he deserves all the rings coming to him with the powerhouse Padres. That said, lets see what he has to say at the presser.

Could be a dark horse team that takes a flyer on him. St. Louis, Milwaukee, Atlanta again.

I'll be disappointed if he doesn't come but from what I've heard he's a d-bag and has been since the winter meetings when he was caught drunk as hell in Las Veges at the winter meetings singing "go Cubs Go"

Deal dead per ESPNEWS
Towers is probably pissed too, he won't get another deal as good as this. He claimed this was a family decision, bull****. I hope he never wins another ****ing game. malacht Cromail ort Peavy!

Let me take a guess:
" I was flattered by the serious interest from the White Sox. I have great respect for Mr Reinsdorf and Williams as well as their entire franchise. I spoke to a couple guys over there and it does sound like a nice place to be. However at this current time whats best for me and my family is to stay in San Diego and with the Padres. My preference if I must be traded is to remain in the National League!"

The whole option this is meaningless IMO, lets say the White Sox would have gotten him, win a couple of WS titles, they could afford to trade him to the Yankees or Red Sox.

If he would have went to an NL team there is nothing in stone that his option would be picked up. Yes, the Brewers, Braves and Cardinals don't have the money but they don't need it. the only reason Peavy would get that money is if an AL team wanted to pay up.
