Default Viciedo
It seems like Viciedo is struglgling. Has anybody had a chance to see him play? I was just wondering what the problem might be. I was expecting him to hit better at AA. I thought he would be in line with Beckham.

He's 20 years old, just moved to an entirely new culture, and the season is young. Give him some time.

Not only that, Fields is playing well so far so there isn't a pressing need at 3rd. NO NEED TO WORRY YET.

Hope they give him a chance to learn LF or RF to have options. If he can hit like projected and Fields continues to succeed, I'd love to see him in LF with TCQ in RF and Dye as the DH.

I have a feeling he will need atleast one if not two years in the minors to season. And by that time, I think 1B will open up, for him to play.

Question regarding his contract:

I know it's a 4-year major league deal. Does that mean the clock to free-agency is ticking for him while he's down in the minors? Or put differently, is he a free agent after the 2012 season no matter what, even if he doesn't get called up until 2011?
