"Welcome back...your dreams were your ticket out..."
How many people here hope he's productive enough to be called up and stay here throughout the season?

I agree. Sox are giving Pods an opportunity to play in the minors so that maybe he draws interest from another club.

What? Wise won't be back for at least 2 months. And Pods is not better in the OF than Wise is. Right now, this is Anderson's job to lose. No matter how Ozzie feels about Anderson Ozzie has to play Anderson now and it's up to Anderson to show that he should be the full time CF. Otherwise, Wise will be starting again when he's healthy. Pods should not see the ML roster unless Anderson gets hurt.

I'm not clammoring, but BA legitimately should start throwing a fit. These are 2 players who don't hit well and cannot field the position. Just get a damn defender out there til wise is back.

No Risk, decent reward. He's better than Jerry Owens. Maybe they can catch lightning in a bottle.

Why not? He is better than Wise if he is healthy, and he is certainly better than Owens.

I don't think Pods can play anymore. Maybe I'll be proven wrong.
