Why not? If he's healthy then he could be hitting .250-.260... Which is probably better than Wise can do.
Anderson could do better but we all know Ozzie would sooner play his son Onie out there than have Brian Anderson as a starter.

It's a minor league deal. The Sox have already purchased Owens' contract, he's back on the 40-man roster, and in Detroit. Pods will be playing in Charlotte, and we won't see him unless someone else has to hit the DL (and even then, I think Kroeger gets called up first).

His on base percentage is awful. Maybe it was the result of the injuries, though I doubt it.

Anyway, Coop will fix him.
