Haha. Let's reunite the whole '05 gang while we're at it.

Well, to do that, we'd have to pull the rest of the team out of retirement or the depths of multiple rosters.

Holy ****.
For the love of God...I hope they don't try to play him in center field. |

Podsednik can pinch run and can still play left field. If the Sox bring up Podsednik instead of Owens, then the Sox would have the following five outfielders: Quentin, Anderson, Dye, Podsednik and Lillibridge. Anderson and Lillibridge can play CF and Podsednik can do so, if necessary. Podsednik can spell Quentin in LF. I don't know whether Pods can spell Dye occasionally in RF; he doesn't have a great arm but I know the Rockies played him in RF in some spring training games.

Minor league deal - does he start in AAA or do they designate Owens again and bring up Pods?

If he were to be pulled up to the majors it would mean he'd be playing left or quentin to center.
In all honesty i'd much rather have Podsednik playing than Wise or Owens. |

At this point, I'd prefer that. At least Scottie has some good history behind him. |
