Some impressions of Hudson's AA start were posted on the FutureSox board. The notable increase in velocity on his fastball is a very pleasant surprise if indeed accurate.

Hopefully his performance this year will cause some more in depth analysis of his stuff by other baseball outlets. It would be nice to get an all encompassing scouting report.

Brandon Allen with another nice day

3-5 with a 3-run HR and 2 runs scored. He was playing DH though, if that matters to anyone.

Flowers is 4-4 tonight with an RBI, all singles.

Up in Charlotte, Allen is 0-5 so far.
