While watching these games again, I can't help but wonder if letting Crede go might be a big mistake. He's a true "big game" player.

I hope you're right but his tryouts went well. If he is healthy and the Twins pick him up, we're in big trouble.

I don't want my comments to wish Crede any ill will, it's just that I hope we know for sure that his back is truly messed up and that we're not making another Ordonez-type assumption.

He started 2008 red hot, too... He's still a good player, he just can't take the grind of a 162-game season anymore... Especially 81 on that turf? No chance he makes it to September.

It's like when I hear a song on the radio that I already own. It's cool to hear it on the radio instead of when I play it.

I said the exact same thing to my fiancee last night watching Game 1! Now we're watching this and Game 3, going to Puppy Bowl every so often, until the Super Bowl.

Good point. The artificial surface in the Twinkeedome would be murder on his back.

I can't lie, my heart just skipped a beat.

You know, I've seen this game probably 10 times now, and I never noticed the Houston fan in the front row behind their dugout who, as everyone else was jumping in joy, just collapsed on the dugout.

Game 3 STARTING NOW... Bring out the coffee, I have a feeling this might take a while.
