Nice to see Morrel get his second home run. People wanted to write him off as a "no-power guy" before he's had 200 wood bat at-bats. Some guys make the adjustment quicker than others. I still have hopes.

My guess with Morel is the Sox expect him to develop power as he matures. He's 6'1" and 220, so power may come. In college he hit only 8 homers in something like 225 ABs his junior year, but he hit for a high average.

The key is find guys who can hit, and then the power will come as they get the coaching and maturity. Starting with guys who have power in college but can't hit for an average are not good bets to succeed in the majors.
