Eldred hit his 25th with 2 on to take the lead.
Minors "shminors", this production is too good to be ignored.
He hit this one off of a lefty, but his stats are only just slightly better vs lefties. He's averaging one homer per 10 at bats vs them, and close to that vs. righties.
We've discussed this in a separate thread, which I started last week.
At the least, someone should want this guy if we have to put a package together to fill another need.

I just don't think the demand is there for a guy like Eldred. The Tigers have his twin Mike Hessman putting up similar numbers and there are no takers for him also.
