That's right. He's a natural lefty (+) who can also switch hit (++). I view that as better than a right-handed batter than can step into the first-base-side batter's box, don't you? Particularly if he will have more power as a lefty bat (an assumption I am making).

I see where you're going there. I was more pointing out the oxymoron of the term "Switch-hitting lefty" there, when it occured to me (about 1 second after hitting the "submit reply" button) that you could have meant that he throws left handed. Duh.

I think the Giants will determine who we get. They are the swing pick of the top ten picks. If they go Smoak Posey could slip, if they go Posey we should get G Beckham or Smoak.
