Astros glad not to go back to NY down 0-2. I realize they got better starting pitching but that's a tough comeback either way.

Glad it happened, glad it's over. Great baseball if you like pitching changes, great baseball even if you don't. We can all agree that it withstood the Test of Time.

Glad I'm retired and don't have to go to work tomorrow.

This Astros-Yanks game reminded me how much I hate three outcome baseball and how badly people are killing themselves selling out for HRs instead of just hitting the damn ball. Awesome that it ended with a 11th inning HR when the previous 60 people to take the bat off their damn shoulders all looked like dumbasses swinging out of their boots.
Not totally true. Gotta love the way Gleyber handles the bat with 2 strikes. Gotta feel sorry for Gurriel who kept hitting atom balls. But in general you're closer to right than wrong. At least tonight.

Yeah, there were definitely a handful of really good ABs there. That’s a handful of fun with a pickup full of horse ****.

Just because you donít like it doesnít mean itís not winning baseball.

Even those great lineups have had big-time trouble plating a baserunner all the way from 1B. 4 of the 5 runs were plated by homers, and the 5th was plated by a double. Itís extra-base hit or bust. Being all singly and bunty doesnít get you jack **** anymore.

Being all HR happy gets you an 11th victory and guys left on base all day.

Speaking of horse droppings, the last three pitches of the game were two bad calls by the home plate demigod (umpire) followed by the walk-off. That's baseball for you.

The Sanchez one was clearly a righteous make up call. I imagine he said something like “I trusted your word and you’re a ****ing liar, shut the **** up and sit down,” or you know, something like that in sentiment.

Better than 9-inning loss because I never got the Springer HR to tie it...

If heís settling for getting on 1B there, who knows if he ever comes around to score? Eliminate as much randomness as possible and try to hit the ball out.

What you just refuse to accept is that it's deadly boring baseball. Putting the ball in play, making the defense do their job, is at least something to watch. For me, baseball has (for the first time in my life) slid to my #2 sport, behind hockey. Hockey gives you 60 minutes of action.

You mean five hours for an eleven-inning game?

Yes, because that's the only outcome with a team who doesnt have nine guys wanting HRs or free passes.

Last night's game was great. Pitching and defense win games.

Hockey is sixty minutes of action which makes it my number one too.

That is not my concern. I only care about winning games. I donít care at all about how that happens.
