The only thing anyone is convinced of regarding Tilson is that he hasn’t had a chance to show if he can hit, or not, at the major league level.

At least Engel and May have had more than a couple plate appearances.

I misspoke, slightly. I should have said that Engel and May's minor league stats were even worse than Tilson's.

Tilson .293/.346/.392

Engel .260/.341/.400
May .267/.326/.367

I think there's a decent chance Tilson can produce .270/.340/.370 in the majors while playing a competent center field. If he hasn't lost his speed, that is.

Probably because Tilson has hit well at every level while playing against players older than him....

LOL, true. But it is a pretty good indicator that he will be able to handle major league pitching when that time (if ever) comes.
