Yeah it's PK, but I'm not really a fan of offering a roster spot to the 2013 AL LVP.

I'm on the fence on this one.
Batting in the second position for the White Sox, number 2, the second baseman Nelson Fox.

I've got absolutely zero evidence to back this up, but I just have a feeling that Paul isn't COMPLETELY done yet. They probably won't contend this year, but I doubt it'll be as horrible as 2013, either. Let him have his farewell tour, he deserves better than whatever the hell 2013 was.

For the record, that's just me being sentimental. I'd welcome him back for another year, but it won't be the end of the world if it's time to move on.

I'm OK with this- in all likelihood they will do everything they can to unload Adam Dunn as soon as they can- which will open up DH ABs for Paulie- I'd want him as the DH vs. LHs anyway.

Clogs up the bench a little bit- but he's one of the top White Sox players of my lifetime- so I don't mind one more year of his influence in the locker room.

This also clearly leaves the ball in PKs court- so if he DOES decide to retire- there's not controversy, etc.

I'm a little biased towards keeping veterans like this around- even when Fisk was REALLY bad in 1993- I still thought they were a better team with him on the roster- than they were after releasing him in Cleveland.

That's how I feel about this. Logically, I think he is done and want to see him walk away and not have another year where he embarrasses himself like he did this year but I don't want to see him on another team either. I hope he walks away but if he wants to come back, I think I would want to see him with us as a bench player.

Go Sox!!!
