Rebuilding or not, absolutely no excuse for this type effort / performance.

Fulmer is terrible as a starting pitcher, more errors, more baserunning blunders.

Typical.

Going to be a long, long weekend folks.

Most of the time when Fulmer pitches, he taxes the bullpen. The Sox pitchers made 205 pitches today. Fulmer 59 in 1 2/3 innings.

Who knew we would be missing Moncada this much?

Nothing the team does this season bothers me. This was expected to be a lost season.

Exactly. If someone gets fired up watching this team, turn it off.

I turned the game off after it became 1-0. It just aggravated me to watch more.

The only reason I have the game on is that it is just background noise. The team is brutal and not worth my frustration or time. It is what it is.

There's way too much talent on this team to be playing this poorly. Closing in on 20 games below .500 before mid may is concerning on development and the coaching staff. Coop is treated like God my some, I'd put his ass on notice soon.

Todayís lineup had only two established major leaguers in it, only one of whom would be considered an elite hitter.

Fulmer isn't a major league starting pitcher. Maybe a reliever. We suck, but he really sucks.

This bullpen needs some fresh blood. Aaron Bummer should be sent down after this series, with Xavier Cedeno taking his place. Give Cedeno Saturday and Sunday off to rest his arm a little bit, and fly him out to Pittsburgh on Monday.

Yes, he has been way worse than Giolito (check the FIP numbers), and doesn't have the minor league track record to give you hope.
