There was a commercial with a bunch of celebs saying they'd be there, including Jordan, who I doubt was there since the season was still going.

Congrats Cards. No pixie dust or devil magic. They just happen to be good almost every year.

10 straight postseason series lost, tied with flubs for the record. Braves from 01-present. cubs from 1910-98.

I was a doubter, but maybe, just maybe we can win with pitching, defense and fundamentals.

Not giving the Cubs any credit, but at least they spread the pain out a bit. The Braves have subjected their fans to that over a period of 2 decades, not to mention their lack of postseason success in the 1990's (tons of division titles and only the one World Series win in 1995).

That wasn't him. Dylan Covey snuck into the Braves' locker room and stole his uniform.

Kendrick with a granny in the top of the tenth to give the Nats a 7-3 lead after they were down 3-0 after 2 innings. Nats got back-to-back homers off of Kershaw in relief in the 8th to tie it up.

After Kershaw blows the lead giving up back to back home runs in the 8th Howie Kendrick comes through with a grand slam in the top of the 10th

Make it happen, Tampa.

Congrats to the Nats. How odd would it be to see both Avi Garcia and Adam Eaton in the World Series?

Nats on to the LCS. Nats are so far the only team in these playoffs to advance by winning at home when they won the wild card game. All other series have ended with the road team clinching.

I can't believe Dave Roberts didn't put Jansen in when the game was still tied

Given the postseason failures, do we think he may end up on the hot seat?

Absolutely. I think it Joe Maddon is now going to be the Dodgers manager in 2020, instead of the Angeles.

That's a great call.

More surprising than a Sale-Q matchup would have been.

I wonder how their old teammates feel seeing them all leave and then make the postseason.

I can tell you that this morning in Washington DC there is a lot of speculation about how a certain Philadelphia Philly feels about this postseason so far.

I don't get the chance to watch a lot of Dodger games, so I have no idea if these sort of moves he makes consistently but almost nothing he did last night made any sense.

Part of me thinks it isn't him making any decisions but all decisions come from the front office.
