Happy Holidays, Sox Fans!
It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. - A. Bartlett Giamatti

After watching A Christmas Story 3 times this past weekend with Jean Shepherd, tonight I had to throw in my old VHS video from 1987, The History of the White Sox which is narrated by Shepherd, a must see for all Sox fans. A shame Shep died in 1999 and missed the 2005 Championship.
Hope all had a Merry Christmas and all have a Happy New Year.
Batting in the second position for the White Sox, number 2, the second baseman Nelson Fox.
