Kyle Hendricks got absolutely shelled in Cincinnati.

Itís reaching the point where Iím starting to wonder if thereís some shenanigans going down over at Wrigley. I canít recall a team having such disparate home/road splits.

"In Aristides Aquino's first three at-bats against the Cubs on Saturday, 'The Punisher' indeed punished."

Are you hitting left-handed now Javy?

Iíve started to think that with the drastic differences in records.

I said it a while back and I'll repeat.
The Reds are going to boss that division soon enough. They are the one team in there on the upturn.
The Cubs and Cardinals are good; the Brewers are good but trending downward.
The Pirates are run like the White Sox, but with less talent.

Angel Hernandez has no business being an umpire

No ump should be allowed to instigate an argument like he does with Votto. Or any player for that matter.

I thought that too but usually you'd see major offensive splits between home and the road if there were some sort of shenanigans like sign-stealing, while the Cubs are better offensively at home they're only marginally worse on the road. They've even hit more homers on the road than at home. So, I don't know what the deal is.

Cards have the ship righted and are back in first place. Cubs lost 11-1 tonite.

Kaplan in mourning on Twitter, which is awesome.

Better stop deluding ourselves into thinking this team has any chance at a championship. Holes all over the roster. Just being honest. Need to make major moves in the off season.

Rizzo only hitting 2 HRs since June 16th is probably more amazing than their home/road splits.

Wow. Who would have thought after 2016 that the Cubs wouldn't at least have racked up more pennants in the coming years? I'm not saying their window is closed by any means, but they haven't looked like world beaters this year and meanwhile Lester gets one year older and Bryant gets one year closer to free agency.

If only the damn Indians weren't so banged up heading into the 2016 post-season. Sigh.

Well, it would be nice if someone in that division other than the Reds would step up and win a series against them.
