Eight Homer's so far today against the Angel's, they lead all of MLB with 98 HRs on pace for 330. Should we be hoping for 3 rainouts this weekend.

Josh Bell hit one in the river the other night. The game has gone mad.

So, for the next few games I get blacked out on MLBTV, and will have to watch the Twins broadcast. Oh well, at least I won't have to listen to Sox Math, Quick Question, and general Benetti inanity.

After we came back nice to split the Astros series, I'm feeling a lot better going into the Twins series.

For the 2nd series in a row, the Sox play the best offense in MLB. Maybe the Sox can drop the Twins back to 2nd like they did the Astros.

The Twins have probably screwed the Sox more than any other team over the last 50 years (except for the As). When we're good, they're a little better.

Yeah 'cuz Gio knocked the Astros into second last night. Hopefully Rey can do the same thing tonight...

I cannot even begin to state how annoying it is going to be if the Twins interfere with our long run of prosperity leaving us with one or two divisional titles over the 5-7 year span.

Pitching matchups don't looks very promising:

Lopez vs. Berrios
TBD vs. Gibson
Covey vs. Odorizzi

I'm usually an optimist (and I still am regarding the direction of the club), but I'm just hoping they don't get swept this weekend. If they can get a win and finish the week 3-4 against two of the best teams in the league on the road, that would be quite the accomplishment.

I wish there would have been one more rainout at some point. It would have been really nice to throw Giolito in the first game of this series. At least he (along with Nova) got the bullpen back in order with that gem against the Astros.

Like the Astros were when the Sox came to Houston, the Twins are white hot. They can't sustain this pace all season, so in a weird way, I think we're getting the Twins at the right time -- at the start of their inevitable cool down. How's that for optimism?!

It seems counter-productive to be yelling at clouds about the two minutes of a three hour broadcast devoted to engaging younger viewers and getting the average age of the viewing audience below 50.

For the record, I'm an old man too, just not that old.
