There actually has been speculation along these lines in the event they decide to go after Harper. Saw stories as such, if I recall correctly at MLB.com

Goofy rumors aside, the Rockies and Dodgers are both looking for a good bat to plug in at 1B without breaking the bank. Rick should be looking to make something happen here.

I don't think that there is anything out there that suggests the Sox are sellers anymore. Trading Abreu at the deadline after he has recouped some of his value and the Sox aren't contending, then that's a possibility.

Hahn today told the media that a lot of the Jose trade rumors are false. Take it for whatever that may be worth to you.
