Default Happy birthday, Comiskey Park!

The old yard hosted its first game on this date in 1910. It was home. Here's to Big Ed, Shoeless Joe, Luke, Zeke, Nellie, Minnie, Billy Pierce, Horlen and Pizarro, Beltin' Bill, Dick Allen, Wilbur Wood, Harold Baines and all the boys.

Lots of Sox games and even Sting games there over the years. I also worked there in 84 and 85 for SportService.

As others have posted, sometimes I have a dream that Comiskey is still in existence.

I know it was only a building, but damn, I loved that place. Many great memories.

The most memorable Birthday was her last. And I was there.

And today is the anniversary of Disco Demolition night, one of the most storied promotional events in her history.
