If this doesn't clear the guys' heads, nothing will.

The hat trick!

I'll give the Twins credit though for one thing, unlike some other teams, they weren't about to put the players and the fans through the idiocy of trying to play in those conditions.

Now get the hell out of there and try to start over against another bad team (like the Royals, Tigers and Rays)

Now they have to hope that they can get out of Minneapolis and get to Oakland.

I had the same thought. Hope they are able to get out of town. Both teams have an open date on Thursday so maybe the Sox play a DH in Minnesota on their way home from Oakland?

I bet they stay in Minneapolis tonight. The arrangements are set there, trying to make arrangements for a day early in Oakland may be difficult.

Twins are just getting back from Puerto Rico, seriously doubt that's going to happen.

I'm sure they will. Much easier to fly out tomorrow at an already preset time or maybe a few hours earlier if conditions allow. At least Minnesota won't struggle to clear a foot of snow. Not like they aren't used to it even if it's weird for April.

Picture from Minneapolis:

Yes, flights have been cancelled, but hopefully this will clear out and let them travel tomorrow afternoon/evening as planned.

Story in the Sun-Times today said it would have cost another 100 million to have a retractable roof put on Target Field.

That's only one free agent signing.

They just got over a foot of snow. It's not like they got a couple of inches or it's just a cold misty day. They couldn't play even if they wanted to.

The Sox and Minnesota share an off day on June 4, the day before a three game scheduled series. The Sox are also back there in Sept. It's not ideal to makeup three games, but it can be done.

Any truth to the rumor that the Bears and Vikings offered to play a game for ****s and giggles?

Yeah, just let it go (Lip). I was 100% the right choice to play our games if all possible due to the scheduling situation with TB not coming back to town again.

I know it's the theme to ride on Sox management, but they made the right choice.

Agreed. I have no problem with them playing that TB series in its entirety. The weather was terrible, and we endured more attendance taunts, but this spring, if you're waiting for decent conditions, you might be waiting a long time. You gotta play if you can.

Obviously, the situation in Minnesota this weekend was far worse than anything we've experienced in Chicago the past week.
