That is correct.

The winner of the tie breaker game will be the #1 seed (cubs/Brewers) and face the winner of the wild card game in the NLDS. They are both seeded at #1 right now.

What a difference listening to Bob Uecker rather than Ed Farmer. His description of Baez's preening was priceless.

I loved it. My radio feed is almost in sync with my DirecTV app at work. Listening to Uecker is glorious.

The Milwaukee Brewers are your 2018 NL Central champions! Cubbies are forced into hosting the Wild Card game against the loser of Dodgers/Rockies.

Any idea who would be the starter for the west team tomorrow against the Cubs?

Dodgers have said they would start the bullpen in the WC game and save Kershaw for Game 1 of the NLDS. But the Dodgers currently have a 4-0 lead so their opinion is probably irrelevant.

That was fantastic. I also enjoyed his description after Baez ended up striking out in that AB. Uecker is a national treasure.

EDIT: I can actually see Farmer also complaining about Baez in that AB but the description probably wouldn't have been as nuanced as Uecker's.

I was listening to their broadcast as well and that segment also stood out to me. He actually was just very literal about what Baez was doing, which of course was unflattering in a matter-of-fact way. I also noticed how Uecker as a former player managed to have his own personality while describing the action well enough to follow. I will probably scream the next time Farmer says “foul ball off to the right... what was that pitch? Was it a cutter? Not sure what that was...” without saying the foul ball was in the seats, fell harmlessly in foul territory, or if the right fielder made a legitimate chance at it.

Dodgers win the NL West, yet again.

So the Wild Card is Rockies at Cubs tomorrow. Let’s go, Rockies. I’ll wear purple to show my support.

Cubs are pitching Lester. Rockies are pitching a guy I have never heard of who is 17-7 with a 2.85 ERA. Looks to be a good one.

That guy you never heard of is one helluva pitcher.

Thank you - I’m hoping there will be less kissing of the cubs ass on this feed.
