The Cubs are better then the Brewers. And good for Heyward. He’s battled thru tough times. I’m happy for him.

Or not...

There is a lot of baseball to be played. To date, the White Sox have issued two hundred and fifty-three walks; the Cubs? Two hundred and fifty-one.

That team up north has a pitching staff that scares no one.

Both pitching coach staffs leave much to be desired.

3-7 Phillies road trip with some brutal offense. Not a strong opponent. The starter walked 7 and the Phillies offense could only muster 1 run. You aren’t going to win ball games like that. The Phillies don’t look like a contender in the NL East, especially after this road trip.

Tyler Chatwood is the poster boy for why ERA is not a great evaluator of talent.

With Strasburg and Kershaw out for who knows how long, the Cubs might cakewalk to the WS. Sigh.

Games are lost on the field. The Dodgers lost Seager last year and we heard the same thing.

Lester is convinced the Cubs are back to what they were in 2016. Yeah, we'll see about that.

Not sure if this hurts them or not, but Darvish might not be back before the break.

Anyone else hear that giant “thud” coming from up north?

This is annoying as hell.

Yep, but it is the first game of the series Mohoney. The Cubs do not have championship calibre starting staff. That fact, if not addressed, will finish them off.

This is like Twins-White Sox from all those years. The Brewers seem to have it in their heads that they can't beat the Cubs. Hopefully that changes.
