Default *Official* 6/15/17 Another Davidson Dinger, Sox Beat O's 5-2 Postgamer

4 straight games in which Matt has homered. Give him the 3rd base job for good and get whatever you can for Frazier which I'm afraid won't be much. I actually hate saying this because I really like Frazier but he's another Dunn except he plays a decent third base.

Nice taking 3 of 4 from the O's.

I can't ever remember the Sox having a schedule like this one, back on the road for 6 more games after only 4 at home, the schedule really favors our guys after the trip, when it's is over the Sox will have played only 27 games at home and 44 away.

I wish Abreu would just move to DH and spare us his awful D. I'm certain Matt could thrive there defensively. Easiest way to improve our IF D, no doubt.

Luckily for us, Frazier has been trending upward since around the middle of May, when his OPS was sitting at a putrid .595 for the season. Frazier had a really solid road trip, although it went largely unnoticed due to the other multitudes of awfulness surrounding it.

He regressed on this homestand and is now just barely above .200.
He would be dangerous if he could just hit .250-.260.

Like I said last night, Davidson looks like a kid who can make a good contribution moving forward when the team is good again. Right now I'd certainly hold onto him.

Quick toss of Avi by Emmel for no good reason. Renteria was right to go old school on the argument and throw his cap. All's well that ends well. Nice day at the park, lively crowd, and a nice shirt promo.

Well Avi did give the Ump some two-fingered sign; not sure what it was supposed to mean, but it didn't look nice and respectful.

Two fingers pointing at his eyes is indecipherable?

The umpire knew exactly what he meant and instantly rung him up.

I would have been surprised if Avi didn't get tossed
