Tied the game up with a solo homer just now.

Default According to Scott Merkin on twitter

"Garcia's home run tied for fifth-hardest hit by anyone this year per Statcast."

The four balls hit harder were GARZILLA's other 4 Avibombs.

Lip,
If you're trying to find meaning in the words "AVI-SAILAMI GARZILLA" typed in size 7 font I think you're overthinking things.

But, maybe that's just me.

Avi-sailing his way to third for a big RBI triple in the 10th inning today.

This is a fun thread.

Voodoo:

Is that supposed to be some sort of nickname?

I honestly thought the middle name was some sort of Arabic spelling since salami isn't spelled that way.

Who knows if this will end up like TCQ's almost MVP season or if he'll come back to Earth. Regardless, it's a lot more exciting right now than what most of us expected.

Quentin is an interesting comparison. The difference is that he immediately contributed, and then struggled with injuries after 2008. The other difference is that the 2008 team was stacked with hitters; Quentin, Thome, Dye, and Crede seemed to cover for Paulie's pre-August struggles. Quentin, Crede, and Contreras getting hurt led to having to pitch Danks and Burhrle in the last few regular season games just to win the division, which meant that the Sox couldn't arrange their rotation to have Danks and Buehrle each pitch twice in a five game series against the Rays, kept that team from making a deep playoff run.

But though FRATER laughed openly, he wept secretly; and really he neither laughed nor wept. Nor did he mean what he said.

Default After 2 months...

Only -.09 in average....
Only -5 in RBIs
Only -9 in HRs

He hasn't even peaked yet this season. He is going to hit 10Hrs in 10 straight ABs to take over the HRs and RBIs lead. He got this crown..
