It looked like Q got his run support for the rest of June with tonight's tilt, but it is fun to watch these high scoring games. Maybe getting into the Blue Jay bullpen this early will pay dividends tomorrow, too.

How about 60 more wins just like that?

Melky with five RBI's... now up to .280. Trade value going up!

Only downer was seeing Petricka attempt at getting MLB hitters out.

Nice to see a good game for Q, hope he can turn it around and get turned into good prospects for the future.

He pitched really well. Who knows if he even gives up those two solo home runs if not for the 7-0 lead?

At the same time, you don't know if he would have given up more under the pressure of a closer game. You would like to have the big offensive days when one of your lesser starters are going, but most of Quintana's closer games haven't been nearly this strong or efficiency this season.

This year when Quintana pitches it's usually the poopsing starter that gets run support. When the Sox failed to score int eh fourth, I was wondering if eight runs would be enough. Cabrera's home run made me feel a lot better.
