Add Michael Ynoa to the list of pitchers on the DL. Brad Goldberg (TBG) recalled.

It's now become laughable isn't it?

Guess if you are tanking / rebuilding this is the best possible time to have everyone get hurt I guess.

Now 10 players, seven pitchers on the DL...and counting.

Jones by the way was shut down last week after throwing bullpen sessions for about a week before that.

Sox say they are just resting him and being cautious but I don't know.

When you stop a guy from throwing who had been throwing that sounds like some sort of a setback to me.

As of June 7 he was working out with team trainers but not throwing.

The White Sox are liars on this stuff. It's that simple. They don't have to tell us the truth, of course, but that makes it fair for us to say they are liars.

Thats correct, I hear how hipaa comes into play which I dont buy and agents pulling strings but then you say nothing or just say, do to players privacy, we cant say whats going on. But the bs is what annoys the living crap out of me.

Just got some confirmation from a beat reporter that Jones' elbow did in fact act up again last week while he was throwing so the Sox have shut him down and took another MRI.

That was (yet again) clean but no timetable for him (yet again).

The guy simply can't stay healthy and now that he's 31 the Sox need to consider cutting their losses with him in my opinion.

Such a shame, didn't seem so long ago he started his major league career something like 8-0.

Nah. He's under contract through 2018, and they gotta pay him anyway, so might as well keep working to get something out of him. Had a good year last season and is still an effective reliever when healthy.

Looks like Carlos Rodon is scheduled to make his first start of the season for the Sox on Wednesday of this week.

And Zach Putnam had Tommy John surgery last week.

Too bad he could never stay healthy. He always seemed to pitch well when he wasn't injured.

Interesting in that when it first happened both he and the Sox were saying he'd only be out a couple of days. Putnam himself said that he'd rest it for a few days and that he thought he'd be "back Sunday" which was two days later as I recall.

Guy can't stay healthy, he's done with the Sox.

Reading more about this and I saw where Hahn was quoted as saying when he had his surgery last year they saw that the ligament "wasn't in great shape" but Putnam and the doctors thought he'd be OK.

Ooooppppssss....

Not like it's going to heal. They either last or they don't.
